An heirloom grain grown and cultivated in the highlands of the Philippines. Adlai (Coix Lacryma Jobi L.) is also known as Job’s Tears, due to its tear-like shape. With its anti-inflammatory properties, it helps lower blood sugar levels. Compared to rice, Adlai is a potent source of protein and good fat. This particular type of Adlai is processed finer, and has a similar texture to white rice.
